Columbus Eagles FC is ready to go for its sixth season! The club announced Monday that it will play a 3-match home preseason to start the 2019 outdoor schedule. All matches are included in Eagles season memberships, which are on sale now and start at $40. CEFC’s full WPSL schedule is set to be released in early February.
Columbus kicks off the preseason at Ohio Dominican University on Sunday, March 31 at 3 p.m. The match marks the fourth straight preseason that the Eagles play the Panthers. Columbus won the 2018 fixture at ODU, 2-1. Columbus is the designated home team for the match.
The Eagles return to their home field at Otterbein University on Sunday, April 7 at 3 p.m. to host Ohio University. The Bobcats are the first Division I school the Eagles have played in club history.
Columbus finishes its 3-match home stand against Otterbein University on Sunday, April 14 at 5 p.m. The match marks the first time the Eagles and Cardinals have played since 2016.
Gates for each match will open an hour before the scheduled kick off time for each match. Single-match tickets are on sale now and are $10 online and at the gate on matchday. Broadcast details for each match will be released in the coming weeks.
The Eagles will release their full 2019 schedule in early February after the WPSL’s winter meetings take place. Representatives from the club will travel to Las Vegas for the AGMs on Jan. 26.
