Columbus Eagles FC is thrilled to announce that its 2019 season membership packages include two new features: A “Community” membership level, and a discount for those who’ve taken the #SaveTheCrew season ticket pledge.
The club’s three standard memberships – at the Individual, Friend, and Family levels – start at $40. Each membership level includes a ticket to every home match the Eagles play in 2019. The memberships also include a 10 percent, year-round merchandise discount to the Eagles team shop (online and at home matches) and access to any special member gifts that the club creates.
The Family membership – the most popular membership level in 2018 – includes tickets for every member of your immediate family and is just $100 for the entire calendar year.
In a landmark 2018, the Eagles set a record for season memberships sold, eclipsing the previous mark by more than 400 percent.
New for 2019:
To further show support for the grassroots #SaveTheCrew movement, the Eagles are offering a 10 percent membership discount (at the Individual, Friend, and Family levels) to anyone who has taken the #SaveTheCrew pledge. The more than 11,000 people who’ve signed up have pledged to buy season tickets for Columbus Crew SC if the club is run under new ownership in 2019. To get the discount, Eagles fans who have pledged should enter the promo code “iPLEDGED” at checkout when buying a CEFC membership.
In addition to those membership levels and discounts, the club has unveiled its new Community membership level for 2019. The $50 membership is designed for Eagles fans who want to support the club and its ambitions in Columbus but don’t expect to be able to attend any matches in 2019. The club will donate tickets to local organizations like Moms2B, and the money from will help the club achieve its community goals for 2019.
Members at every tier gain access to the club’s advisory board, which meets in-person multiple times throughout the year and also will correspond regularly on a Slack channel starting later this year. Memberships at the standard levels include a $7 shipping fee to accommodate the cost of a special membership box, which will be shipped in spring 2019.ÂÂ
More About Columbus Eagles FC:
The Eagles are proud members of the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL), the largest and longest-running women’s soccer league in the world. Columbus has played its home matches at Otterbein University for the past three seasons and expects to do so again in 2019. Parking is free at Eagles home matches at Otterbein, and tailgating is allowed and encouraged. The club broke all of its attendance records in 2018 and hopes to smash them again in 2019.
The club’s full WPSL schedule will be released in early 2019. This past summer, the Eagles set records for points, wins, goals scored, and fewest goals allowed, en route to a second place finish in the WPSL’s Valley division. Three players – Ashley Gogolin, Megan Minnix, and captain Amber Kern – were named to the All-Region team.
