Columbus Eagles FC goes on the road Sunday to play its WPSL finale against Steel City FC of Pittsburgh, Pa. Kickoff at the Ellis School is scheduled for 4 p.m. The club has announced its 19-woman matchday roster for the game, which is the final match of the season for both clubs.
For the Eagles, a win would mean clinching a second-place finish in the Valley division, which would be the club’s best-ever league finish. Cleveland has already won the Valley and will represent the division in the regional playoffs starting July 13.
The matchday roster is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Hannah Sargent, Jenna Villacres
Defenders: Monique Hanayik, Hadley Jones, Amber Kern, Megan Minnix, Adison Preston
Midfielders: Samantha Damante, Kelly DeNiro, Ashley Gogolin, Allison Harbart, Hanna Marks, Lisa Nouanesengsy, Larissa Najjar, Micaela Powers
Forwards: Erin Brockway, Dani Gunderson, Rachel MacLeod, Rian Reid
