Columbus Eagles FC announced its 20-woman matchday roster for Sunday’s away match against Ambassadors Cleveland. Kickoff at Kenston High School is scheduled for 6 p.m.
The Eagles sit atop of the Valley division of the WPSL with six points, after wins over Ann Arbor and Cincinnati to start the season. The club returns home June 3 to play Motor City FC of Detroit, Mich. Tickets are on sale now for $10.
Samantha Damante and Allison Harbart make their first appearances of the season in Sunday’s match. The Eagles’ full matchday roster is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Hannah Sargent, Kassandra Young
Defenders: Summer Bourcier, Monique Hanayik, Amber Kern, Adison Preston, Kate Prewitt
Midfielders: Alexa Cheripko, Samantha Damante, Kelly DeNiro, Ellie Gavin, Ashley Gogolin, Allison Harbart, Hanna Marks, Larissa Najjar, Micaela Powers
Forwards: Erin Brockway, Rachel MacLeod, Rian Reid, Eryn Weber
Both Columbus and Cleveland are undefeated in the WPSL. Motor City FC (Detroit), AAFC Lumberjills (Ann Arbor) and FC Pride (Indianapolis) all won this weekend to move up the Valley division standings.
