SuperKick Becomes Official Training Home of the Eagles

CEFC announces that SuperKick is now the official training home of the Eagles.

Columbus Eagles FC is proud to announce its partnership with SuperKick Sports Complex, making it the official training home of the club. The deal is for two years and extends until the end of 2019. The partnership ensures the Eagles have a place to train all year long, no matter the weather.

SuperKick – an indoor sport and fitness facility in Lewis Center – includes more than 62,500 square feet of turf fields for use by kids and adults. The building includes classrooms, a fitness and weight training center, and a 40-meter sprint track. The organization employs a team of personal trainers for individualized sessions and hosts youth and adult soccer leagues throughout the year.

“SuperKick is excited and honored to be the official training home for the Columbus Eagles FC,” said Tony Earp, executive director. “SuperKick is committed to helping grow and promote women’s professional soccer in Columbus, and further expand the opportunities for the Columbus Eagles players, staff, and fans. SuperKick is Where Champions Train, so it is fitting to host the Columbus Eagles FC as they prepare for their upcoming season.”

Many Eagles players already train individually at SuperKick in the offseason. As part of the deal, the Eagles plan to host future indoor friendly matches and youth clinics at the facility.

“I am so excited to have SuperKick join our growing list of corporate sponsors,” Eagles CEO Mark Wise said. “Their training facilities are the best in the area and we are pleased to have this environment in which to train. Our players will benefit and our team will benefit from this agreement. We look forward to a long relationship.”

CEFC begins training at SuperKick on Tuesday in advance of the team’s three-match preseason, which starts April 7. Eagles fans can follow every training session on the club’s social media pages.
